The winners were voted on by operator members of the Cheers Editorial Advisory Board. The Awards were presented Feb. 12 by Cheers vice president of sales/associate publisher Tony Bongiovanni and Cindy Busi, director of worldwide beverage of Hard Rock (winner of 2013 Cheers Beverage Excellence Awards for Best Overall Beverage Program) at the Cheers Beverage Conference in Dallas. At 70 proof and only available in the U.S. market, Pineapple fusion joins Bacardi's other 11 flavors. Papa's Pilar Dark and Blonde rums are now available through a partnership with Earnest Hemingway's estate, which will donate 100% of the royalties to organizations that that embody adventure, literacy and conservation. The 86-proof dark rum includes pot and column stilled rums, up to 24 years old, while the 84-proof blonde includes column stilled rums aged three to five years.
