Product News Charter Software and SatisfYd offer customer insight to equipment dealers Charter Software, a provider of profit-building business management systems for equipment dealers, along with its strategic alliance partner SatisfYd, announced on April 3 the availability of the SatisfYd Professional Solution to users of Charter's ASPEN business system. The SatisfYd Professional Solution is a fully automated customer survey process that gathers and reports customer information for Parts, Service, Sales and Rental transactions from dealers' business systems. ASPEN is now set up to automatically transmit this data to SatisfYd. SatisfYd manages the survey process on the dealers' behalf, based on the criteria they set. The survey results help dealers pinpoint their strengths and weaknesses, and provide access to actionable reporting to improve their process. "Charter has long partnered with SatisfYd (formerly known as Strategic Feedback) to assist dealers with improving their businesses by enhancing the dealer experience via the export of data from our DealerWin software," said Charter Software President Anne Salemo. "Now, we have completed the automation required to get ASPEN POS transactions transmitted to SatisfYd, so as more of our customers move to ASPEN, they too can now use SatisfYd's customer insight tools. We strive to provide access to tools that will help our customers to make their businesses as profitable as possible." Kristin Rockwood, director of sales at SatisfYd, said, "In today's highly competitive marketplace, a business cannot thrive or survive by guessing what customers need and expect. Our service helps businesses recognize, react, and resolve issues identified by their customers, empowering them to improve customer satisfaction and increase customer retention. We are glad to work with Charter Software in order to carry out our mutual goal of helping equipment dealers maintain a competitive edge in their industry and take their businesses into the future." Featuring a 48-inch cut width, the Brush Blazer is a stand-alone solution between smaller-scale lawn units and large, commercial forestry attachments. The Brush Blazer packs an exceptional amount of power, which boosts productivity and allows the unit to tackle trees up to 4 inches in diameter. The Brush Blazer is an ideal tool for clearing underbrush and trees, performing trail maintenance, cleaning retention ponds, or clearing rightof-ways. The unit is also ideal for hazardous vegetation management and wildfire prevention. It is available with a 28-hp. Briggs & Stratton Vanguard or 27-hp. Kohler EFI engine. Filling a gap between small-scale units and large forestry equipment, the Brush Blazer offers a mid-sized option with high productivity. Key to its quick return on investment is the ability to clear more area faster with fewer workers. In optimal cutting conditions, the Brush Blazer can clear up to 6 acres per day and is proven to complete twice the work with half the manpower. The unit features a 5-gallon fuel tank that allows a run time ranging from 4 to 6 hours, depending on the job's terrain and material. The Brush Blazer's rotary brush cutting system features 2 half-inchthick steel discs, each with 3 hardened-steel flail blades. The weight of the discs and the mass of the blades give the unit the strength and momentum needed to plow through tall grass, tough brush and woody material. The flail blades are easy to sharpen and double sided for extra longevity. PECO's brush cutter features easy-to-use controls for smooth, safe operation. Two levers for speed and steering operate similar to a zero-turn mower. An operator presence safety switch requires pressure to run the engine, ensuring operator safety during use. The self-propelled unit has infinitely variable speeds up to 5 mph, making operation efficient and easy — even when clearing steep ditches or rough terrain. The Brush Blazer features a hydrostatic track drive system for smooth, efficient operation in a variety of terrains and conditions. The track system and the front-end sled configuration provide excellent traction while also ensuring stability when working on steep grades or slopes. Additionally, the track design minimizes the ground pressure of the 1,250-pound unit to only 3 pounds per square inch, making it an effective tool for even the most sensitive areas. And, because it is relatively small and compact, the Brush Blazer is ideal for hard-to-reach areas where commercial attachments, skid steers or other equipment may be too large. The Brush Blazer is 59 inches wide and 96 inches long, making it easy to transport on a standard landscape trailer or even in the bed of an 8-foot pickup truck.
