SEPPI M. forestry mulchers SEPPI M. announced updates to its Multiforst and BMS. The SEPPI Multiforst tills soil, crushes stones, grinds stumps, mulches wood, and even works in asphalt. The Multiforst is now available with an optional grader blade made of HARDOX. Available working widths: 79, 89 and 98 inches. The SEPPI BMS (pictured) is ideal for river bank, road, railway and other ROW maintenance; clearing slash after felling operations; and other tasks. It mulches wood and brush up to 10 inches in diameter, and is designed for excavators from 13 to 30 tons. The SEPPI BMS has an attractive new design that features improved rotor design, greater wear-resistance due to new skids, more power from optional new motors with up to 40 percent more torque, improved drive protection, carbide planer blades, improved operator protection system, and lightweight construction made of HARDOX. Available working widths: 39, 49 and 59 inches. MARKETPLACE Terex high-performance G-Series mulcher attachment Specifically tuned for use with the Terex PT100G Forestry compact track loader, the new Terex G-Series mulcher attachment is ideal for right-of-way work and vegetation management applications, including the ability to mulch trees up to 8 inches in diameter. The multistage action of the Terex G-Series mulcher attachment's two-stage cutting chamber begins as the rotor picks up material and forces it to pass between the moving carbide teeth and the stationary counter teeth. The material is then processed into a fine mulch as it passes between the carbide teeth and the recutter bar before being discharged toward the ground. The staggered pattern and angles of the counter teeth promote an aggressive feeding action, while minimizing jamming. An optional primary stage shear bar is available for applications requiring extra fine mulch. The Terex G-Series also features a line of carbide-tipped, heattreated steel teeth specifically engineered for this mulcher attachment. www.arborage.com Arbor Age / July/August 2013 23
