Two new products from Rock Exotica SherrillTree announced that it carries two new products from Rock Exotica: the rockStar 3D rigging plate, and the machined rescue pulley. • rockStar 3D rigging plate: The rockStar gives rigging professionals a variety of advantages over flat rig plates, and greatly aids those working in dynamic environments by providing what is now becoming a rigging phenomenon: the floating anchor. Alleviates the effect of torque on the rig plate by orienting toward the applied forces. Simplifies rigging and attachment of connectors by providing a variety of anchor point angles. • Machined rescue pulley - double sheave: This pulley raises the bar for its impressive strength, slim profile and quality manufacturing. Recessed axle screw sits flush to pulley sideplates creating slim, snag-free profile Machined, not stamped, parts create a stronger pulley; increasing its strength-to-weight ratio. Axle is integrated into sideplates, adding additional strength and rigidity to the pulley. Echo introduces new 30.1cc top-handle chain saw The latest addition to Echo's top-handle chain saw lineup is the CS-303T. This chain saw is based on Echo's most popular and best selling top-handle chain saw design. The CS-303T uses a proven engine that has been redesigned for increased power, fuel efficiency, and reduced emissions. The saw is available in 12and 14-inch bars and features an automatic/adjustable oiler, a side-access chain tensioner, a vibration reduction system, a purge bulb, and an inertia chain brake. The CS-303T is lightweight, well balanced, and starts easily — whether on the ground or in the tree. This saw fits nicely into the Echo top-handle lineup between the lightweight CS-271T and the powerful CS-355T. As with all Echo chain saws, the CS-303T is covered by a 1-year commercial warranty and 5-year consumer warranty. Bandit announces the XP-Series Beast recyclers / horizontal grinders Bandit Beast recyclers will carry Bandit's XP badge to reflect over 35 specific enhancements and addons in 8 different categories. Model 2680XP, 3680XP and 4680XP Beast recyclers now feature angled front infeeds with larger infeed drive chains. Track Beasts feature height-adjustable pans for adjusting feed angle. A new rail system on the return side of the infeed replaces the roller system. These machines also offer a new "Big Mouth" option that increases the height of the opening into the mill. A 32-inch-diameter feed wheel is optional and includes a brush deflector to better direct material into the machine. Inside the mill housing, base door openings are now larger for easier removal of the cuttermill. Replaceable wear plates are now standard on the left side (radiator side) of the mill base, and optional on both sides. A convenient trap door allows for cleaning in the auger area, while the auger itself is redesigned and easier to change. Several new teeth styles are available. For engines, adjustable pitch fans are now standard, enhancing engine cooling and fuel efficiency. Mill shafts are larger on the Model 1680XP and 2680XP to accommodate higher horsepower engines, which are now available for these machines. Air-Spade announces new Utility Air-Spade 4000 Series excavation tool Air-Spade, a division of Guardair Corporation, announced the new Utility Air-Spade 4000 Series excavation tool. The new tool, designed with safety in mind, features Air-Spade's patented supersonic nozzle which utilizes compressed air to produce a high-speed laser-like jet that moves at twice the speed of sound for rapid digging in the toughest of soils. The tool serves as a safe and non-damaging alternative to traditional digging methods that puncture sensitive underground cables and pipes in soil-excavation applications. Additionally, the Utility Air-Spade 4000 Series' high-voltage insulated barrel and nonsparking nozzle provides a high-level of protection when working around underground electric and gas lines.
