Seago International named North and South American
distributor for BowDry and Hover Trimmer
Seago International of Hickory, N.C., has
been named the exclusive distributor for the
Americas for BowDry and Hover Trimmer.
"We are very excited to work with Seago," said
David DeCunha of Bowcom, which manufactures
the BowDry machine in the United Kingdom.
"Through their dealer network, Seago has great
reach into golf and other markets throughout
both North and South America."
The BowDry is a walk-behind water-removing
machine that is fast, quiet, efficient, rugged, easy
to use, and people powered, according to Scott
Sweeney of Seago."You can use the BowDry to
dry greens or walking areas between foursomes
at tournament time, and the players won't hear a
thing," said Sweeney. "It removes the water from
the turf, and you can take it right to the closest
drain. It also works great for pool areas, locker
rooms, cart or walking paths — really anywhere
there is standing water."
Sweeney added, "While there have been some
similar machines like this out in the market in
years past, the BowDry's rear collection area
and transport wheels make it much easier to
maneuver, even when full."
The Hover Trimmer, manufactured by
Autolawnmow of Ireland, is a blade and hood
attachment that will fit most string trimmers.
"The Hover Trimmer is the perfect blend of a
string trimmer and a hover mower," Sweeney
noted. "It has applications for golf, landscape,
homeowner markets." The Hover Trimmer is
available in two models: the HT-300, which is
designed for machines with a 30-cc or larger
engine, and the HT-200, which is designed for
smaller than 30-cc trimmers.

the American market," said Sweeney.
