Echo PowerFuel Echo PowerFuel is a pre-mixed fuel, containing 93 octane gas and oil, that's ready-to-use right out of the can — there is no need to measure or mix oil. It contains no ethanol, is specifically developed at a 50:1 ratio, and is the only pre-mixed fuel that uses Echo Red Armor Oil. Echo PowerFuel is recommended for use in all air-cooled, 2-stroke engines. It facilitates proper break-in and helps extend the life of equipment. It stays stable and usable for up to 2 years after opening. Plus, Echo PowerFuel even makes winter storage and maintenance easier — it is not necessary to drain the tank unless it has remained in the tank for more than 2 years. The Echo Red Armor Oil mix incorporated into Echo PowerFuel uses powerful detergents that quickly remove performance-robbing carbon deposits with the first use, without sacrificing lubrication or film strength. It also protects against future buildups. Echo Red Armor Oil is JASO FD and ISO-L-EGD rated. Echo Inc. STA-BIL Ethanol Treatment With temperatures finally rising, before revving up engines, it's important to consider ethanol and how today's ethanol-blended gasoline at the pump could potentially harm your equipment. A recent independent consumer research publication reported that the Environmental Protection Agency is now advising consumers against using E10 and E15 gasoline in small-engine equipment, as it could destroy the engine. While ethanol-free fuel is produced, it's difficult to find and comes at a premium price from $5 to $8 a quart. Considering most consumers use local gas stations to fuel their small-engine equipment, the need for education and damage prevention is more necessary now than ever. For those who use ethanol-blended gasoline (E10 or E15), there are new solutions on the market to protect your engine. Fuel additives like STA-BIL Ethanol Treatment avoid damage from ethanol by preventing it from separating from the gasoline, attracting moisture, and causing corrosion. Gold Eagle Co.
