60 www.bigrigowner.com September 2013 RIGS William Rethwisch Captures Best of Show at 31st Shell Rotella SuperRigs® in Tomah, Wis. William Rethwisch of Tomah, Wis. captured Best of Show honors with his 2012 Peterbilt 389 at the 31st annual Shell ROTELLA SuperRigs® competition held June 20-22 in Tomah, Wis. as part of the Budweiser Dairyland Super National Truck & Tractor Pull. The winning truck also captured first place in the Best Interior category. Jeremy Hassevoort of Hamilton, Mich. was awarded Best of Show 1st runner up and Best Chrome for his 1986 Peterbilt 359. The Shell Rotella SuperRigs® competition is the premier truck beauty contest for actively working trucks. Owner/operator truckers from across the United States and Canada compete for cash and prizes valued at approximately $25,000. Twelve drivers were also selected to have their truck featured in the 2014 Shell ROTELLA SuperRigs® calendar. First place winners also included Kevin Pascavis of Richfield, Wis. in the Tractor/Trailer Division for his 2013 Peterbilt 389; Troy Kunshier of Hasting, Minn. in the Tractor Division with a 2009 Peterbilt 389; Mike Meyer of Theilman, Minn. won in the Classic Division with his 1984 Kenworth W900B. The 1993 Peterbilt 359 of Carl L. Chase of Camp Douglas, Wis. won the People's Choice Award which is voted on throughout the event by all contestants rigs 0913.indd 1 and spectators. The Hard Working Truck award went to the 2005 Peterbilt 379 of Josh Hainstock from St. Michael, Minn. All category winners also received a case of Shell Rotella® T6 full synthetic engine oil.
