New & Improved Vacuworx New Concrete Road Barrier Lifter Wireless remote control means fewer laborers on the ground and increased safety Vacuworx Global's new concrete road barrier lifter is powered by a Vacuworx RC series lifter with a vacuum tank beam that doubles as a spreader bar. This feature allows the concrete road barrier lifter to be highly maneuverable when used in confined spaces. The RC lifter can position and install numerous sizes of concrete road barriers and is capable of handling loads of up to 44,000 pounds or more. Depending on vacuum-pad configuration, the lifter can be used in highway or bridge construction, in municipal infrastructures, and for use by security organizations, defense contractors or the military. The lifter can be operated in conjunction with excavators, backhoes, forklifts, cranes or knuckle booms. According to Vacuworx, its wireless controller operation allows for fewer laborers on the ground. The vacuum-based mechanism allows for the remotecontrolled manipulation of materials like steel plates and concrete road barriers, which the company says reduces worker exposure to hazardous road conditions while helping to lower insurance and payroll expenses. The machine has been completely redesigned with a new lower profile and FAE's "smooth rotor system" with double carbide teeth. With 32 teeth and two side cutter teeth, the mulches is 74 inches wide overall; cutting width is 63 inches, cutting capacity is 8 inches. Weighing 2,756 pounds, it features more Hardox steel to make it more resistant to abrasion, plus two sets of Hardox counter knives positioned inside the shell. FAE uses a 110cc variable torque motor for maximum productivity. The new mulching door has a chain system that eliminates the door cylinder – the head is completely enclosed, which prevents debris from getting inside the head. Pressure gauge is standard. The Magnum crusher from IROCK Crushers is a highperformance four-bar impactor with heavyduty components for reliability, increased efficiency and precision. Offered in three sizes, the Magnum 15, Magnum 20 and Magnum 30 are equipped with CAT ACERT Tier-3 engines and feature 350-, 440- and 550-horsepower respectively. The Magnum 15 can process up to 350 TPH, the Magnum 20 up to 500 TPH and the Magnum 30 up to 650 TPH with each unit including three auxiliary outlets for the operation of transfer or stacking conveyors. Each unit is equipped with a P.T. Tech clutch, which decreases power loss and increases fuel efficiency. A vibrating feeder with a heavy-duty, two-step tapered grizzly removes fines and allows only large materials into the crusher. The feed openings vary in size with each model, ranging from 40 by 32 inches to 56 by 43 inches. Hydraulically adjustable aprons with three-stage crushing on IROCK's impactor crushers allow better control over sizing. The four-bar impactor design offers maximum material reduction that minimizes wear and enhances performance and production.
