MSAE CONTINUES ITS EFFORT TO GIVE BACK TO MISSISSIPPI Blanket Donation: Who: YOU: MSAE members, co-workers and friends What: Members and others are encouraged to bring a lightly used and freshly laundered, or new, blankets, quilts or other substantially warm bedding articles to be distributed to an area charity or shelter. When: You may bring items to the December 9th Holiday reception, January 21st Cocktails & Conversations or the January 22, 2014 Lunch & Learn. If you are unable to attend any of these activities, please contact Amy Wilson at awilson@weminc-net.org for delivery or drop-off. Where:The bedding will be distributed to the following organizations: Matt's House: Jackson-based shelter providing housing and transitional living. Grace House: located in Jackson but serving persons with HIV/AIDS from all over Mississippi. These residents are offered a dwelling with dignity, in safety, and with compassion and caring. Stewpot: Serving the Jackson with 3 women shelters & 1 shelter for men as well as a Closet ministry to give items to people in need. Shelter for Battered Families: Serving Madison County: Items may be used at the facility and given to residents as they transition to a new environment.
