He will oversee all marketing and creative services initiatives for the company's wine, beer and spirits portfolio. Lewin has held leadership positions at Blends Inc., Constellation Wines U.S., Foster's Wine Estates and The Clorox Company. Wine Industry Symposium Group Hires Lisa Adams Walter The Wine Industry Symposium Group in Napa, Calif., appointed Lisa Adams Walter as director of programs. The company plans to expand its social media and wine community outreach. Adams Wal- ter has run her Adams Walter Communica- tions PR firm for 15 years, and will contin- ue in that role. She also serves as the assistant executive director of the Academy of Wine Communications. Guillaume Nursery Appoints Jean Vittot Jean Vittot has joined Guillaume Grapevine Nursery in Knights Landing, Calif., as general man- ager. Previously, Vittot worked for Taransaud Group, first as vice president marketing and sales of Can- ton Cooperage in Santa Rosa, Calif., and then as manager of Xtrachene Oak Alternatives division in Bordeaux. Former general manager Eckhart Kaesekamp will remain a part-time consultant. Cooperages 1912 Promotes Elizabeth Van Emst Cooperages 1912 Napa has promoted Elizabeth Van Emst to general manager of North American operations. Van Emst will oversee wine barrel sales and manage the company's Napa operations. Pre- viously, she worked as a national sales manager in luxury consumer goods. She joined Cooperages 1912 in 2008 as an account manager, and most recently served as West Coast operations manager.
