The brand uses fine Canadian grains, pure spring water from Ontario’s Georgian Bay and a hand-crafted, Maplewood mellowing process, the company says. The whisky is triple distilled and then matured in white oak barrels. In a unique finishing step, the whisky rests with toasted Maplewood to complete its smooth character. Initially available in Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana and Texas, more markets will be added through- out 2011, the company says. Beverage Dynamics • www.beveragedynamics.com • March/April 2011 • 81
