Robotic Welding Versatility, productivity, quality and reliability–all in one gas blend! PRS-360S Max Part Size 43” x 118” High capacity two-station, double-ended headstock/tailstock ferris wheel Faceplate distance 120” std, 144” optional Part turning diameter 40” Each station can hold 1,100 lbs. Ideal application: heavy high-production parts that must be repositioned and welded on several sides or welded while the part is turning. Parts plus fixture must fit into a cylinder 120” long by 40” dia. (std), 144” long by 40” (optional). Single point load/unload is best for high production or batch. Main sweep–fast, accurate, servo index in under 4 seconds Full servo on 3 outboards–fast cycle time, tooling beds hold their orientation during main sweep Easy install–robot and positioner on fast-couple sub frames Versatile–add air clamps, smart fixtures, L-brackets, tooling Options–dual robots, torch reamer, seam tracking, load station jog and more. 221” Weld produced using Stargon VS and ProStar® 6 metal-cored wire. Power set at 27V, 350A and 500 ipm. Note excellent bead shape and good penetration. Ultimate Versatility Stargon VS shielding gas is a precise blend of argon, helium, and carbon dioxide formulated to work with all solid and metal-cored wires to join plain carbon steel and coated or electrogalvanized steel used in industrial applications. Greater Productivity The unique blend of gases found only in Stargon VS shielding gas produces an extremely stable arc over a wide range of operating conditions and modes of metal transfer. Weld at higher deposition rates and faster travel speeds with low spatter and excellent weld quality and appearance. Improved Weld Quality, Reduced Cleanup For light galvanized surfaces or over some light rust or mill scale, the stable arc characteristics provided by Stargon VS shielding gas produce a weld with little or no porosity and excellent bead appearance. Any fine spatter typically will not adhere to the plate. Reliably Consistent Blend Composition 180” Praxair’s Starblend™ system uses our specially designed “dip” tube with openings that help create turbulence during filling. This improves mixing and delivers a more homogenous blend.
