The additions bring to 28 the total number of national and regional LTL carriers that are either live or coming online to uShip's market- place. That represents more than 80 percent of the annual volume in the $32 billion domestic LTL market. Jim Bramlett, general manager of uShip LTL Freight, said the LTL carriers "can now reach shipping customers directly with rates they control and dynamically adjust with market and seasonal conditions." VolVo dealer network grows Volvo Trucks has added Bruckner's Truck Sales in Albuquerque, N.M., to its dealer network. The 7.5-acre full-service dealer- ship has 18 bays and is accessible from Interstate 40, just off the Unser Boulevard exit. TravelCenters of America, operator of TA and Petro Stopping Center facilities, is recognizing drivers for their professionalism and contribu- tions to the industry through its first Citizen Driver Award program. Tom O'Brien, TravelCenters pres- ident and chief executive officer, said the award "is a way to recognize the best of the best, not just for being good at their jobs, but for being good people that everyone, everywhere, both inside and outside of trucking, can admire and respect." As part of the selection process, each driver picked his or her favorite TA or Petro Stopping Center loca- tion, which will be renamed after them. All finalists and semi-finalists also receive an award package from TA and Petro. The dates for ceremonies marking the renaming of the locations are: • "Bob and Linda Caffee North Las Vegas Stopping Center" in Nevada, May 7. • "Jimmy Ardis Travel Center, Manning, S.C.," May 10. • "Shawn Hubbard Ontario Stopping Center" in California, May 15. • "Jerry Fritts Petro West Memphis Stopping Center" in Arkansas, May 16. • "Charley Endorf York Stopping Center" in Nebraska, May 17. • "Norman Knight Columbia Travel Center" in New Jersey, May 24. • "Henry Albert Laredo Travel Center" in Texas, May 28. Get warranty agreements in writing, and make sure you under- stand them.
