Custom Rigs PRide & Polish 56 | Overdrive | September 2014 of Mustang, Okla., won in the Working Bobtail category with his 2000 Peterbilt 379. Small fleet owner Jerry Kissinger won Best of Show in the Limited-Mileage Bob- tail category with his heavily customized and restored 1978 Mack Superliner. Pride & Polish is spon- sored by Overdrive, River States Customz, the 75 Chrome Shop, Perfor- mance Diesel Inc., Lincoln Chrome, Fitzgerald's Glider Kits, the American Inde- pendent Truckers Associa- tion, Dynaflex, Mac Trailer, Hogebuilt, Blue Tiger, Pro Miles, Show Stopper Wax Products, Over the Road Fi- nancial Network and Diesel Boss Apparel. Milk hauler Jerry Mies competed in the National Championship round of judging with his 2013 Peterbilt 389 and '07 Walker trailer dubbed the "Lactose Limousine." The truck was the runner-up in the Working Combo category. Doug Scholten and his Rabbit River Transport took home a handful of trophies, with his 1986 Peterbilt 359 and 2001 Utility reefer dubbed "Gold Digger" winning First Place in the Antique Combo category, as well as both the Interior-OEM Sleeper and Engine-Working Truck categories.
