Veteran
flatbedder
Owner-operator William Hall
of Clearwater, Fla., pulls a
flatbed with his 1986 Peterbilt
359 and says he'll haul any-
thing that fits on it. Hall, who
bought the truck in 1987, says
he's been driving for 40 years
and has 3 million miles on this
truck alone. He's stretched
the frame, added wood floor-
ing in the cab and completely
redone the interior.

Well-kept Pete
Larry Mitchell of Tyler, Texas,
hauls transformers, light poles
and lumber to the northwest and
steel back to Texas with his 2006
Peterbilt 387 powered by a 475-hp
Caterpillar. Mitchell says that while
he's added some aftermarket fend-
ers, "other than that, it's stock,
but well taken care of."
Grain hauler
V.E. Parker calls his 2012
Freightliner Cascadia
and 2014 Timpte Super
Hopper a "grain-hauling
machine." Parker says
he's added a few chrome
accents and train horns
to the rig.
