It is designed for the arborist's comfort. The extra-wide, semi-rigid waist belt and leg loops give excellent support. The Sequoia SRT is a tree care seat harness for ascents on a single rope. It has a ventral attachment point and a rear buckle for installing a Croll ventral rope clamp with Secur shoulder straps. It too features an extra-wide, semi-rigid waist belt and leg loops for excellent support. The attachment bridge for both the Sequoia and Sequoia SRT is linked to two gated rings, allowing its length to be adjusted and accessories to be installed directly on the bridge. These harnesses also facilitate carrying and organization of tools with multiple equipment loops and a slot for attaching Caritool tool holders. RAINBOW TREECARE IQ TREE INFUSER The iQ Tree Infuser from Rainbow Treecare was designed with the tree care professional in mind. It is an easy-to-use, rechargeable lithium-ion-battery-powered tree injection device for the application of micro-injection tree healthcare products. It does not require plugs. It utilizes a stainless-steel tip that seats snugly into a 15/64" hole. There is a user interface where the applicator can set the total dose and inject away. The iQ Tree Infuser utilizes a pressure sensor to let the applicator know when the injection is complete. The gun handle is ergonomically designed for left-handed or right-handed users. There is no calibration required and it is highly accurate up to 1/1,000 of a milliliter. It is designed to deliver lower volume products on sites with a large number of trees. STIHL HTA 85 POLE PRUNER The Stihl HTA 85 Lithium-Ion battery pole pruner offers lightweight, balanced cutting thanks to its brushless, commercial-grade, high-torque electric motor. Tree care professionals now have a quiet, zero- exhaust emission, low-vibration option for trimming overhead branches. Part of the Stihl Battery KombiSystem, the HTA 85 runs on the same interchangeable battery system as other Stihl Lithium-Ion tools, and offers long run times on a single charge — up to three hours depending on which battery — with no gradual drop in performance. The HTA 85 telescopes to 12 feet for those tall tree-trimming tasks and requires minimal maintenance since it has no engine or filter. TEREX XT PRO SERIES TREE TRIMMERS The Terex XT Pro Series Tree Trimmer trucks boast a longitudinal hydraulic lift option to provide up to 75 feet of working height, upper boom articulation of 250 degrees and 125 degrees of lower boom articulation, to further extend these aerial devices' capacities and capabilities. A unique feature of the XT Pro tree trimmer is a control system that senses what hydraulic flow is needed to move the boom to a new position without having to disengage the tool circuit. This feature allows the operator to concentrate on the task at hand without having to manually manage hydraulic flow between the controls and tools. Because of the way these tree trimmers are engineered, these models have the capability to mount a 75-foot unit on a 13,200-pound front axle chassis. And this design accommodates an 11-foot chipbox, so there is no reduction in chip storage space. VERMEER BC1000XL DUAL-FUEL BRUSH CHIPPER The dual-fuel BC1000XL is a 12-inch-capacity brush chipper that can run on gasoline or propane, and provides tree care contractors and rental business owners an alternative fuel option. The dual-fuel machine also includes the Vermeer- exclusive EcoIdle engine control system, which helps drive down the cost of operation while benefiting the environment. When the EcoIdle function is selected by the operator, the engine speed automatically lowers to a preset rpm after one or five minutes of inactivity to help reduce fuel consumption when not chipping material. The 12-inch by 17-inch infeed opening enables the chipper to better process difficult material. Control of the feed rollers is optimized with the four- position feed control bar. The bar is within reach of the operator, allowing him or her to activate the rollers from forward to reverse. * Manufacturers were allowed to submit more than one new product for consideration, as long as the product was introduced between October 1, 2013 and September 30, 2014.
