Beginning mid-October, both military families and volunteers will be able to register and receive real-time matching, enabling Project Evergreen to connect the family in need with a willing volunteer without a wait. It's an exciting time for the both the GreenCare and SnowCare for Troops programs, which continue to grow. Each month Project Evergreen is adding new military families and new volunteers. As soldiers return from deployment, volunteers become available to help other military families in need. Project Evergreen is also working to expand the program to disabled veterans. (Continued from page 8) Bandit broadens interaction with blog, expanded social media Bandit Industries' website looks slightly different. A new blog, along with live feeds from the company's Facebook and Twitter accounts, now share space on the home page at www.banditchippers.com. These improvements offer visitors to the chipper manufacturer's website the ability to see live social media updates, and interact directly with the company — all from a single online location. Bandit's new live blog will be updated regularly with content that readers can comment on. Blog topics will vary, ranging from equipment tips, community events and sponsorships such as NASCAR, to a look inside Bandit machines and the people who make and buy them. Along with live feeds from Facebook and Twitter, Bandit has expanded its pres- ence on LinkedIn with articles of business interest. For those who like pictures, Bandit has a new Pinterest page. And for those who like to see the machines in action, the company offers a new video series on YouTube titled "Two-Minute Demo." In approximately two minutes, people can watch rapid-fi re videos of Bandit machines in action. All are linked di- rectly through Bandit's home page.
