Every detail in this new series has been crafted with strength in mind, including the strongest warranty in the industry. In addition, a host of comfort and convenience features, including the industry's first Bluetooth maintenance monitoring system, combine for an outstanding owner experience. "We know customers demand strength, durability and powerful performance in a tractor, so we built the strongest tractor on the market," said Emily Sword, Cub Cadet director of brand marketing. "Then, we challenged ourselves to match that strength with advantages in every other area of the owner experience — from comfort and handling to versatility and support after the sale. Even the color scheme is bolder to reinforce the strength built into every detail. One test drive and you'll agree — the XT Enduro Series is the tractor that will make you wish your lawn grew faster." Proof of the strength behind the Cub Cadet XT Enduro Series is evident in the following advantages: Strongest warranty in the industry: Cub Cadet stands alone in the industry in offering both a 5-year limited chassis and front axle warranty, as well as a 3-year limited powertrain warranty. The warranty has no hour limit. Breakthrough cutting and bagging: A new muscular cutting system ensures outstanding durability and bagging performance, along with the excellent results of the Cub Cadet Signature Cut. Cub TripleGuard Corrosion Defense System: A precise, multi-step process with e-coat delivers automotive-grade corrosion resistance and protects the owner's investment, keeping it looking good for the long run. Strong options: The XT Enduro Series offers advantages at every step, like smooth and simple hydrostatic transmissions throughout the lineup, as well as more choices in fabricated and stamped decks for the ultimate in performance and endurance. Versatility: The XT Enduro Series delivers year-round versatility with a full line of attachments and accessories for mulching, towing, snow removal and more. Alongside its strength, the XT Enduro Series offers ultimate comfort and convenience — both on and off the tractor. Cub Cadet unveils new XT Enduro Series lawn tractors Kohler Command PRO EFI 824-cc commercial engine Kohler Engines recently unveiled its most fuel-efficient commercial engine with best-in-class horsepower and torque. The 824-cc Command PRO EFI engine features a highly tuned air intake system that enhances airflow to maximize power and torque. The company's closed- loop, electronic fuel injection (EFI) system, when coupled with the new design, makes the 824 Kohler's most fuel-efficient commercial engine in its current lineup. The engine will be available on numerous commercial mowers for the 2015 model year. "When it comes to engines, you often have to choose between power and fuel efficiency," said Mark Johansen, director of marketing for Kohler Engines. "With the 824, you get both. This engine is designed to help commercial cutters power through the toughest jobs while reducing downtime and minimizing fuel costs." The 824 achieves maximum torque and fuel economy through a number of unique design features. In addition to an optimized intake manifold, the engine features 2 spark plugs per cylinder head, which provides enhanced combustion to maximize fuel efficiency and engine torque. Highly engineered baffles, cylinder heads and specially designed crankcase fins provide efficient engine cooling to deliver maximum reliability and durability, and a commercial high-density air cleaner helps minimize debris reaching the engine. Also available is an optional electronic governor, which delivers better throttle response, engine load pickup and stability, thus resulting in applying the available power more efficiently. The Command PRO 824 is available in 4 models (ECV850, ECV860, ECV870 and ECV880) that offer between 27 and 33 horsepower and best-in-class peak torque, as well as fuel efficiency that will allow commercial users to save at least $600 per engine per year in fuel costs over similar-sized carbureted engines, based on typical commercial cutter usage.
