Husband-and-wife team operators
Bob and Julie Badker of Osage, Iowa,
haul arms, ammunition and explo-
sives for the government. Their dog,
Lilly, is always along for the ride in
their 2008 Western Star, which is
powered by a 14-liter Detroit engine
and an 18-speed transmission. The
truck's graphics were inspired by
their granddaughter's racecar, and
the graphics on their 53-foot Great
Dane also match.
Stretched
Classic
Steel hauler Matt Schneider
of Republic, Ohio, drives his
1998 Freightliner Classic for
Great American Lines/Valley
Transport. His customiza-
tion includes stretching the
truck from 260 inches to 300,
repainting it black and adding
a visor from 12ga. Customs.
Schneider also swapped out
the fenders for fiberglass half-
fenders from Badass Customs,
added a billet grille and
installed 7-inch stacks and a
boltless bumper.
