They're a one-stop shop as far as bringing technology to the parts business. Based in Kelseyville, a rural com- munity in Northern California, Allied is a family owned business including owner Roland Shaul, wife Nell, son Eric Shaul, stepson Brian Hirscher, and about ten full-time employees. Allied is a global company serv- icing customers worldwide. Allied prides itself on its outstanding cus- tomer support and business technol- ogy innovations that help recyclers add to their bottom line. Thinking of new ideas, new services, and new ways to increase profitability and streamline the management of run- ning a parts business is their con- stant goal and challenge. Allied has been serving construc- tion and farm parts dealers for over 32 years. They provide the oldest dealer-only parts locating network, and the industry's number one in- ventory control program. Their parts database is comprised of the com- bined inventories of hundreds of the most reputable parts dealers in the United States and Canada. From its beginnings providing a network for parts dealers, Allied Information Networks, Inc. began creating cus- tom software to both manage the business—and market inventory— of new, used, aftermarket, and rebuilt parts, attachments, and equipment for tractors including construction equipment, farm equip- ment, forklifts, and hydraulics. Their site Tractor-Part.com allows public searches for specific parts from member-dealers' inventories. Parts Network and Online Marketplace Founder Roland Shaul started Allied in 1982, with an overnight network for John Deere dealers to buy and sell attachments and equipment.
