PRODUCT ROUND-UP ARBORJET TREE-ÄGE TREE-äge insecticide from Arborjet (www. arborjet.com) is delivered into the tree's vascular tissue to assure rapid distribution and consistent results. It has been proven in independent university studies to be very effective against Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) and is the only product labeled for 2 years of control against EAB with a single application. Delivered via trunk injection, it is an environmentally responsible treatment that injects and seals the formulation directly into a tree's vascular system so that nothing is placed in the air or soil. Trunk injections with TREE-äge insecticide help preserve the environmental, economic and aesthetic benefits of trees, and cost significantly less than removing and replacing mature trees. BUGBARRIER TREE BAND It won't be long before caterpillars hatch and begin feasting on trees. Applying an adhesive band to the tree trunk to trap them is the most environmentally sound method for controlling these pests, and the BugBarrier Tree Band is the preferred banding system. The BugBarrier Tree Band is a pesticide-free, pheromone-free adhesive banding system that does double duty. Most tree-dwelling caterpillars pupate at the base of the tree and the adult female moths climb up the tree to lay their eggs. So the band traps the adult female moths as they attempt to climb. During their feeding stage, many caterpillars climb down the tree to avoid predators and the heat of the day. The BugBarrier Tree Band traps the caterpillars at the end of the day as they attempt to climb back up the tree to continue eating leaves. The BugBarrier Tree Band can be installed in five minutes or less. Its dense, flexible fiber barrier is wrapped around the tree to fill bark crevices. The adhesive film barrier is then installed over the fiber, with the adhesive side facing the tree. This unique design eliminates unsightly debris that insects turn into bridges, and keeps insect carcasses out of sight. MAUGET ABACIDE 2 INSECTICIDE Mauget's Abacide 2 helps combat boring insects and other destructive beetle species. Abacide 2 is an injectable insecticide formulated with 2 percent abamectin, an effective insecticide commonly used to control boring and phloem-feeding insects. Formulated for use with ornamental, residential, forest, nursery, orchard and Christmas trees, Abacide 2 is a proven system for controlling invasive insect species through a single, long-lasting late summer or fall application. The expanded label for Abacide 2 includes a higher dose rate and a new group of insect species that can be controlled, including ips; coniferous bark beetles; western, mountain and southern pine beetles; and other boring and phloem-feeding insects that commonly target ornamental and forest trees. RAINBOW TREECARE IQ TREE INFUSER The iQ Tree Infuser from Rainbow Treecare was designed with the tree care professional in mind. It is an easy-to-use, rechargeable lithium- ion-battery-powered tree injection device for the application of micro-injection tree healthcare products. It does not require plugs. It utilizes a stainless-steel tip that seats snugly into a 15/64" hole. There is a user interface where the applicator can set the total dose and inject away. The iQ Tree Infuser utilizes a pressure sensor to let the applicator know when the injection is complete. The gun handle is ergonomically designed for left handed or right handed users. There is no calibration required and it is highly accurate up to 1/1000 of a milliliter. It is designed to deliver lower-volume products on sites with a large number of trees. TREEAZIN SYSTEMIC INSECTICIDE TreeAzin systemic insecticide is a highly effective product for control of Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) with a minimal impact to the environment verses other available pesticides/ control options. TreeAzin, derived from neem tree seed extracts (not neem oil) is not emamectin benzoate or a neonicotinoid. TreeAzin provides up to two years' protection against EAB, can prevent EAB damage in healthy ash trees, and significantly improves an ash tree's chance of survival if damage is not yet too severe. TreeAzin is registered as a bioinsecticide by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and is listed for organic use by the Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI). In addition to EAB, TreeAzin is also registered in the U.S. for the use against other pests including Gypsy Moth, Hemlock Woolly Adelgid, Elm Leaf Beetle, Tent Caterpillars, Leafminers, Spruce Budworm, Jack Pine Budworm and Sawflies.
