205-349-2990 | R A N DA L L R E I L LY.CO M/CO N S T R U C T I O N Ad Groups An Ad Group contains one or more ads that target one set of keywords that have a common theme. Each Ad Group is targeted to a specific product/service, conversion, or call-to-action. So, the ad your customer sees is what they are searching for. Impressions Impressions notate how many times an ad is seen. An impression is counted each time your ad is shown on a search result page or other site on the Google Network. This is the first level of contact. CTR CTR or click-through rate is a ratio showing how often people who see your ad end up clicking it. CTR can be used to gauge how well your keywords and ads are performing. The ratio is rendered by dividing the number of impressions by the number of those impressions resulting in a click. A higher CTR means you have fewer impressions but a better performing ad. Call Metrics Google allows you to add extensions to your text ads. When you use a call extension, Google will assign and display a unique Google forwarding number in the ads on both mobile and desktop devices. This number is automatically generated for each ad group. Whenever a customer calls this number, the call will be rerouted to our client's business phone number. In ads on smartphones with full browsers, Google forwarding phone numbers feature a touch-to-call function. When the ad is displayed on a mobile device, if someone taps on the phone number to make a phone call directly, it tracks that this call was made. Missed Traffic Reports This status indicates that your budget is lower than the recommended daily budget. A campaign that's limited by budget can still be successful and help you meet your business goals. However, the status indicates that there might be opportunities to gain more exposure if you're able to increase your budget. To make sure that your budget lasts throughout the day, Google's system will slow down how often your ads appear. Ads in the campaign can still appear, but might not appear as often as they could.
