The Mantis 16-inch XP
tiller/cultivator offers a
wide tilling width of 16
inches and features a
powerful Honda 35-cc
4-cycle engine, making
it suitable for a variety
of larger-area projects
from tilling large beds to removing sod for a
new patio or walkway. The XP is the Mantis
alternative to larger, heavier, mid- or rear-tine
tillers, providing all of the power at a fraction
of the weight and cost with the added benefit
of Mantis serpentine S-shaped tines that spin
at up to 240 rpm, digging deep and leaving
a fine loom soil that is ready to plant. The
XP comes with a push-button primer for fast,
easy starting, and the unit weighs a mere 34
pounds for easy carrying and maneuvering.
Optional attachments are available. In addi-
tion to this 4-cycle tiller, Mantis offers 2-cycle
and electric tillers.

MASPORT HOME GARDENER
The Masport Home Gardener is a 4-in-1
combination machine capable of completing
several chores. It can be used as a powerful
yet lightweight cultivator for flowerbeds, gar-
dens and areas that are going to be seeded,
or as a turf buster. Operators can attach the
lawn edger attachment and save hours of
back-breaking work with a spade creating the
ideal lawn borders. To clean patios, paths and
driveways of dirt and grime, the Masport Home
Gardener can also be used with the cleaning
brush attachment. Finally, the soil aerator
attachment can be used for breaking up and
aerating compacted soil, allowing the earth to
breath, as well as for churning up weeds, sav-
ing operators laborious work with a pitchfork or
other tool. The Masport Home Gardener can
be purchased with all the attachments included
or with just the tiller.
