"" BY LARRY HURRLE, EDITOR B ill Vitti has joined the leadership team of Internet Truckstop Group (ITG) as the company's new Chief Sales Ocer. Vitti will lead all company sales and serve on the leadership team, which oversees ITG companies including Truckstop.com, Real Time Freight, uDrove, and ITS Financial Services. He will split time between oces in Phoenix, AZ and New Plymouth, ID. Vitti comes to ITG from Swi Logistics, a separate entity of Swi Transportation, where he served as president for three years and led Swi Logistics from a start-up to a top 15 North American 3PL and a top 35 transportation brokerage, according to a 2014 report by Transport Topics. Vitti was also vice president of Swi Transportation. "I am thrilled and honored to be part of the team with Internet Truckstop Group," said Vitti. Vitti has an extensive and diverse background with previous roles in sales, marketing, product development, project management, pricing operations, entrepreneurial start-ups and executive leadership. Prior executive positions include tenures with industry leaders such as Swi Transportation (trucking), CHEP (pallet and container pooling), Tenneco Automotive (shipper) and Transplace (non-asset 3PL).
