Infusions line, Coconut, has been released by Campari America. The vodka is made with real coconuts to create a light, refresh- ing flavor that's complemented by the aroma of citrus and Tahitian vanilla bean, according to the company. The vodka, which joins the other nine SKYY Infusions flavors, has already been ranked the best tasting coconut vodka by the Beverage Testing Institute. It's available for a suggested retail price of $18.49 for a 750 ml bottle.
XO Café Dark Cocoa is now available from Patrón Spirits. The coffee liqueur combines Patrón Silver Tequila with coffee and chocolate flavors, building on the company's portfolio of coffee liqueurs. The dark cocoa is distilled at 60 proof and comes in a frosted ver- sion of the Patrón tequila
bottle. The liqueur has a suggested retail price of $24.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
Absolut Grapevine is the latest vodka flavor from Pernod Ricard USA. The newest Absolut iteration is a blend of white grape, dragon fruit and papaya fla- vors. The spirit is made from natural ingredients and contains no sugar. Absolut is also simultaneously releasing Absolut Miami, combining citrus flavors of passion
fruit and orange blossom. Both vodkas are available for a suggested retail price of $21 for a 750 ml bottle.
Pernod Ricard has debuted a new
package for Plymouth Gin, due to hit retail shelves this month. The rounded bottle shape and antique style pay trib- ute to the unique heritage of Plymouth Gin, the company says, and the oval label recalls an earlier example of the packaging, embellished with copper to reflect Plymouth's arti- sanal credentials. The bottle also honors the city of Plymouth,
England as it has been distilled on the same site since 1793 at The Black Friar's Distiller - the oldest working distillery in England. The suggested retail price for Plymouth Gin is $32.99 for 1 liter bottle.
Burnett's Vodka, from Heaven Hill Distilleries, has introduced
Blue Raspberry Vodka to its portfolio of varied flavors. The new addition is the 26th flavor in the line. The burst of blue to the raspberry flavor is an exciting twist on traditional flavors, the company says. The launch of the new flavor is supported by POS for floor displays and shelf facings, as well as sales education materials. The 70 proof product is avail- able for a suggested retail price of $9.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
Australian wine- maker [yellow tail] is releasing its newest blend to the U.S. Sweet Red Roo is a blend of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and other red varietals, making it full of fruit flavors with aromas of sweet red berries, vanilla and chocolate, according to the company. Imported by W.J. Deutsch & Sons, the blend is the fifteenth addition to the [yellow tail] portfo- lio. Sweet Red Roo is available for a suggested retail price of $6.99 for a 750 ml bottle.
