PRODUCT ROUNDUP EQUIPMENT FOCUS 34 DECEMBER 2015 OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT www.outdoorpowerequipment.com PRODUCT ROUNDUP PRODUCTS HUSQVARNA M-ZT 61EFI For large properties requiring professional performance and premium cut quality, the Husqvarna M-ZT Series zero-turn mower lineup adds further depth in 2016 with the ad- dition of a 27-hp. fuel-injected model. The new M-ZT 61EFI offers improved fuel economy along with increased performance and reli- ability. The intuitive operator interface, rugged 2-inch by 3-inch heavy-duty steel frame, and commercial-rated hydraulic system create an outstanding mowing experience. With a rugged fabricated steel deck that is mulch and collection capable, the M-ZT 61EFI is practical for all property maintenance needs, at an excellent value. Husqvarna HUSTLER FASTRAK SDX Equipped with a full commercial Kawasaki FX engine that provides strength and reliability, the Hustler FasTrak SDX also features a heavy- duty commercial clutch, commercial-duty Hydro- Gear ZT-3400 drive system, upgraded custom seat with operator isolation, large 23-inch tires, and a top speed of 9 mph. The Hustler FasTrak SDX provides all-day performance and is backed by Hustler's 4-year/1,000-hour limited warranty and lifetime limited warranty on the frame and leading edge of the deck. Hustler Turf Equipment/Excel Industries JACOBSEN'S ZT PRO SERIES Ideal for sports turf professionals, Jacobsen's ZT Pro Series of commercial zero-turn mowers pro- vides the power and performance to handle any turf job with ease. The ZT Pro Series consists of 4 models powered by a 25- or 27-hp. Kawasaki FX engine or a fuel-efficient 27-hp. Kohler EFI engine for mowing up to 5.3 acres per hour. The Elite X deck, which is available in 50- and 60-inch cutting widths, can easily tackle large volumes of grass and provide a more attractive after-cut appearance. Mulching performance can be enhanced by adding a twist blade to the existing X-Blade. Hydro-Gear pumps and Parker wheel motors provide smooth and reliable steering. A heavy-duty deck spindle with cooling fan reduces the operating temperature of the belt and spindle while keeping the top side of the deck clean. The discharge chute may be opened and closed on command. Jacobsen, a Textron Inc. company JOHN DEERE Z997R DIESEL ZTRAK John Deere continues to update its commercial zero-turn offerings with the Z997R Diesel ZTrak. The Z997R features a powerful 37.4-hp. Final Tier 4 diesel engine, providing a workhorse solution for customers needing a large zero-turn mower in all conditions, including tall and wet grass. The Z997R is available with a 60-inch or 72-inch 7-Iron PRO side-discharge deck, an industry-exclusive 60-inch 7-Iron PRO Mulch On Demand deck, or a 60-inch 7-gauge fabricated rear-discharge deck. Dedicated to minimizing downtime, decreasing cost of operation and improving performance, the Z997R is designed with a heavy-duty frame, featuring a shaft drive to minimize deck belt costs and flat-free front tires to reduce field downtime. Additionally, a new electrically powered, 14-bushel, hard-shell, dump-from-seat Material Collection System (MCS) allows the operator to accumulate material with minimized leakage and extends intervals between emptying. The electrically powered dump-from-seat feature lessens the effort required from the operator, providing a trouble-free solution that reduces the time spent dumping. The Z997R has a variety of options available to increase operator comfort and reduce fatigue during long work hours. John Deere KUBOTA ZD SERIES Kubota recently introduced the all-new ZD Series: the ZD1000 and ZD1200. These zero- turn mowers are available in 4 deck widths (48, 54, 60 and 72 inches), and they are driven by powerful Kubota diesel engines (19 to 25 hp.) with hydrostatic transmissions and pivoting front axles. Kubota's Aerodynamic Cutting System provides more efficient use of power, result- ing in better fuel efficiency and faster cutting performance. The ZD Series offers a reduction in steering control-lever resistance for easier maneuverability. Operator comfort is enhanced by premium high-back suspension seats. Addi- tionally, the ZD1200 comes with a 3.5-inch LCD display screen to allow the operator to more closely monitor vehicle functions. Low-profile tires and an aerodynamic deck design reduce rolling resistance, improving fuel economy, and newly designed blades allow the mowers to cut faster with less horsepower. Kubota Tractor Corp.
