Custom Rigs ReadeR Rigs 54 | Overdrive | March 2016 Ole Blue Kevin Cossette, leased to Valley Express of Fargo, N.D., uses "Ole Blue," a 2011 Peterbilt 389, to haul produce, mostly apples, out of Washington to Kentucky, and to backhaul other groceries to Washington and Oregon. The truck is powered by a 600-horsepower Cummins and an 18-speed trans- mission and has 3:36 rear axles, dash chrome and stainless accent trim. The trailer is a 53-foot 2016 Great Dane van with a Carrier 7500x unit. Turbo- charged KW Sergey Shtrom of Springfield, Mass., uses this 1999 Kenworth W900L to haul refrigerated freight along Interstates 80 and 90 for Hirschbach Motor Lines of East Dubuque, Ill. The truck is powered by a Caterpillar 3406 and an 18-speed trans- mission and has 3:55 rear axles. Shtrom added more stor- age, changed out the carpet for hardwood and installed a Bulldog turbocharger.
