Mr. Steve Scott of IPD and Jay Waggoner & Larry Vestigo of Mahle A ermarket presented talks on "Engine Analysis." Both speakers approached this topic from diff erent perspectives which all attending very much enjoyed. Ms. Kelly Raia, VP of Global shipping for Blue Tiger International provided a detailed instructional demon- stration on the "ins and outs" of freight forwarding locally and internationally. e trade show on Friday was as busy as I have ever seen. Our numbers may have been down slightly for this year's convention, but the enthusiasm was way up. Most everyone I spoke with felt the business is ready to return to where it should be. Next year's trade show and convention will beheld on October 25th to 28th in San Antonio, Texas, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. e hotel is located close to the river walk and just across the street from the Alamo, were the battle of the Alamo, a pivotal event in the Texas Revolution in 1836 took place. ere between 182 and 257 Texan's put up the good fi ght in a losing battle against 1500 Santa Anna troops.
