ROLLOUTS AGGREGATES MANAGER / May 2017 11 Semi-portable washing system solution Haver & Boecker introduced a skid-mounted Hydro-Clean 1000 Wash Plant. The washing system includes both the Hydro-Clean 1000 washing system and the Tyler L-Class vibrating rinse screen. By mounting both pieces on a custom skid structure, the system is semi- portable and can be constructed more quickly than a custom system without the costs of custom engineering. Haver & Boecker | www.havercanada.com Intuitive machine control for excavators Dig Assist, the latest in a suite of programs offered for the Volvo Co-Pilot interface, provides real-time guidance for operators. Using the in-cab in- terface with a 10-inch, high-resolution touch screen, excavator operators can input job specifications and track progress along the way. The opera- tor opens the application and inputs a target depth and grade before be- ginning work. Then, the operator can visualize the bucket and machine's position in real time, with indicator guidelines that provide a reference point for digging. An onscreen light bar display notifies the operator when the desired depth has been reached. Volvo Construction Equipment | www.volvoce.com Loader is built for tough applications KCMA Corp., a subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery Group, rolled out the 957Z wheel loader. Equipped with a six-cylinder, 16-liter Isuzu diesel engine, the loader does not need a diesel particulate filter to meet Tier 4 Final requirements. Improvements in the standard lock-up torque converter speed cycles and improve fuel efficiency. Systems respond more quickly to vehicle demands to improve power and speed, while a new joystick steering option opens up the operator area for increased visibility and comfort. An XT package can also be equipped to handle 12- ton payloads, which allow for two pass loading on 24-ton dump trucks. KCMA Corp. | www.kcmacorp.com Drill rigs offer enhanced efficiency, technology Sandvik's Pantera DP1100i top hammer drill rig is an intelligent, self-pro- pelled, crawler based surface rig. It is designed for hole sizes of 3.5 to 5.5 inches, while the Pantera DP1500i is for hole sizes of 4 to 6 inches. Both are available with Tier 3 and Tier 4 Final engines. The DP1100i is now available with a high frequency RD1635CF rock drill, which is designed to ensure hole straightness, and the Circulating Shank Lubrication System, which is said to reduce shank lubrication oil consumption by up to 70 percent compared to the old system. Both Driller's Office and Driller's Notes software come with the rig, with an option for one-hole automatics. Sandvik | www.construction.sandvik.com As seen at As seen at As seen at As seen at
