BY LAUREN HEARTSILL DOWDLE Make your next project easier with a new digging option, mower, fl ag, truck accessory and waterproof light. Excavator's Effi ciency Extend Put your next job within reach with Bobcat's extendable arm option for its M-Series E55 compact excavator. The extendable arm telescopes to provide an additional 30 inches of reach when fully extended. With this option, you can also use a hydraulic clamp to pick up and place mate- rials such as rocks, landscaping materials and debris. The arm cylinder is operated through a rocker-style thumb switch located on the joystick. A retention pin holds the arm in the retracted position so you can use up to 16 different attachments, including the Hydraulic X-Change mounting system. With the extendable arm, you can enjoy the compact size of the excavator with the option of more reach.
