HD PC-12 12-Station Heavy Duty 12V Battery Pallet Charger The Pallet Charger is a 12-Volt, 8 amp per channel, 12-station charging unit that uses universal electrical input. This charger can be connected to any type or size of 12-Volt lead acid battery (VRLA, AGM and flooded cell). Each Pallet Charger contains 12 charge stations each of which operates in isolation from one another, allowing any combination of batteries to be recharged at the same time. If you service lots of batteries, this fully automatic rolling smart charger makes charging and pulsing your batteries simple and easy with one switch control and progressive, easy-to-understand LED information display. There's no need to move the batteries, simply roll the Pallet Charger over to wherever they are. Then connect the replaceable 8' 14-gauge flexible battery leads with clips and walk away. The HD Pallet Charger senses the condition of each individual battery and provides the appropriate charge current for that battery. There is no risk of overheating or overcharging the battery. After being fully charged, the batteries are float charged and pulsed with our optimized, high frequency pulsing regimen to remove and prevent the build- up of large, damaging lead sulfate deposits on the battery plates – the main cause of battery failures. By reducing the size and number of lead sulfate deposits on the battery plates that negatively affect your battery's ability to accept, store and release energy, batteries charge deeper, maintain greater reserve capacity and last longer – up to five times longer. Smart technology and pulsing prevents battery gassing, which allows charg- ing with batteries sitting on a pallet. Hence, batteries can be left on the pallet and not handled needlessly. One-switch operation and LED charge indicators simplify operation and minimize operator training requirements. l 1R l 2R l 1Y l 2Y l G LED INDICATORS l 1 Red l 2 Red Battery Disconnected Bad Battery l 1 Yellow Recovery Charge l 2 Yellow Pulse Charge l Green Charge Complete Real World Savings "Camp Arijan, Kuwait (April 25, 2012) – A two-man team work- ing in a tent here has saved the Army more than $7 million over the past 18 months by charging batteries for reuse… working with 36 PulseTech HD Pallet Charger recharging units. Each unit charges 12 batteries at a time. Since getting started, the Hawk- er team has received 29,610 units, of which they tested 28,160 through the middle of March." David Ruderman, 402nd Army Field Support Brigade Public Affairs 800-580-7554 www.pulsetech.net "With units training at the Combat Center practically non-stop, vehicle batteries take a beating…Sulfate buildup on battery plates within the plastic housing is the main cause of lead-acid battery problems and failure. The equipment used by HWMS re- verses the natural electro-chemical reaction within the battery. Dead batteries are connected to the Pulse Tech HD pallet charger, which services 12 batteries at a time… The battery recondition- ing program, in its third year, saved the Combat Center $356,520 in fiscal year 2011 by reconditioning 991 batteries."
