Wisconsin Ave., presents A Grand Avenue Christmas Nov. 17-Jan. 7. Three floors of the mansion are elegantly transformed during this annual holiday tradition. The Pabst Mansion's hours are 10am-4pm Monday through Saturday and noon-4pm Sun- day. Special hours are 10am- 1:15pm (last entry) on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Holi- day admission is $12.50 adults. Children 16 and under tour for free during the holiday season, sponsored by BMO Financial Group. Tours during the holiday season are self-guided, with last entry at 3:15pm daily. The mansion is closed Christmas Day and New Year's Day. A Twilight Tour happens Dec. 22, 6-8pm. The self-guided tour concludes with light refresh- ments and a live performance by zitherist, Kurt Eckroth, and vocalist, Megan Eckroth. Tickets are $15 adults and $8 children (6-17). Celebrate with Waukesha Silver Bells Through Dec. 30 Waukesha's Downtown not only decks out for the holidays, it makes everything magical with horse drawn carriage rides, carolers, Santa Breakfast Work- shops, an art crawl and a 5K Santa run & walk. Retailers keep the doors open later all through the month of December. waukeshasilverbells.com Streets of Old Milwaukee and European Village at MPM Through Jan. 29 The holiday decorations at the Streets exhibit remain through Jan. 29. The Streets of Old Milwaukee is a walk-through diorama, transporting the visitor back to a fall evening in Milwaukee at the turn of the 19th century. Next to the Streets exhibit, The European Village recreates homes and shops from many countries, circa 1875-1925. Visitors can observe the daily life of Europeans who came to the U.S. Through Jan. 18, holiday decorations add a special touch and highlight the diverse traditions represented. The European Village comes alive on Dec. 1-2. Learn about European holiday traditions from costumed interpreters.
