Networking News Local women and businesses on the move First Choice Dental Group recently promoted Jodi Klagos to insurance manager. In her new role, Klagos will manage relationships between First Choice Dental and major insurance companies as well as oversee insurance-related services for patients. Madison native and long-time professional dancer Genevieve Custer Weeks announced her retirement from professional dancing. Custer Weeks, who has performed both principal and soloist roles in many Madison Ballet productions, had her final curtain call following the season���s run of Madison Ballet���s ���The Nutcracker.��� Metcalfe���s Market, a family-owned market serving the community for nearly a decade, opened a new west side location on Mineral Point Road. Madison Community Foundation awarded nearly $490,000 in grants to local organizations that will serve a variety of purposes, from supporting local arts to providing community services. The organizations receiving grants included Attic Angel Association ($75,000), Independent Living ($75,000), Madison Ballet ($33,000), Madison Museum of Contemporary Art ($20,000), Madison Symphony Orchestra ($40,000), Natural Heritage Land Trust ($38,700), Omega School ($30,000), Simpson Street Free Press ($50,000), YMCA of Dane County ($60,000) and Wisconsin Academy ($25,000). 17,600,000 The amount of dollars raised by the United Way of Dane County during its 2012 campaign.
