Members are encouraged to come as often as they want—there's always something new to see at MOWA. Craig Blietz: Herd Oct. 13-Jan. 13, Opening Party: Oct. 13, 2-5pm Herd, a new body of work by Door County painter Craig Blietz, is part Barbizon school, part agrarian abstraction. Cows dominate the pictures and serve as a canvas within the canvas for elaborating on the abstract designs. Corey Fells : 100 Womxn Project Oct. 13-Jan. 13, Opening Party: Oct. 13, 2-5pm 100 Womxn Project is a celebration of diversity, resilience, and womanhood. Active military specialist and Milwaukee photographer Corey Fells set out to document 100 minority millennials from across the city. Each photograph was taken in front of the same ivy-colored wall, creating a visual continuity that reflects the shared experience underlying the unique individuals. Their pictures and stories chronicle their hopes, dreams, trials, and tribulations as well as their aspirations. Fore and Aft: A Vitreous View of Time Through March 31 This special exhibition presents the work of three leading Wisconsin artists—Beth Lipman, Jeremy Popelka, and Eoin Breadon—who embrace the challenge of glass as large-scale sculpture. Each work is thoughtfully installed in MOWA's permanent collection. ACTIVITIES FOR ALL AGES MOWA offers 175+ "always free for members" programs annually. Each week features drop-in art making for all ages during Studio Saturdays and more. MOWA Masters Classes From Halloween makeup to drawing live cows and smartphone documentaries in Milwaukee. Halloween at MOWA Oct. 27, Wear your Halloween costume to trick-or-treat in the galleries and paint your own pumpkin. Bloomin' Holidays Nov. 9, 10, and 11. Enjoy three exquisite days featuring: Florals in the Galleries, expert talks and demonstrations, holiday shopping and the Bloomin' Cafe.
