Marketplace New Heavy-Duty Shock Absorber Line Meritor has launched its own Meritor-branded shock absorber product line. The new line, which is immediately available, replaces the Gabrielbranded shocks previously distributed by the company and is available to all North American warehouse distributors and OEM dealers. The shocks are available in three models: cab shocks, standard duty shocks and premium adjustable shocks, the company says. The shock line is the rst entrant into Meritors new AllFit series, addressing the allmakes market segment. The three product classes are: Cab shock: designed to isolate the cab from the vehicles frame maximizing ride comfort. Standard-Duty: manufactured with premium components to help ensure longevity on the road. Premium Adjustable: can be converted to three settings regular, rm or extra rm. Phillips says the adapter connects the round male style of the 36 series to the SLIM-7 female style of the 34 series. The molded STA-DRY plug in the new harness adapter keeps moisture and contaminants from penetrating the electrical system and comes with pre-applied corrosion resistant dielectric grease, the company says. The internal sleeve bearing pumps come standard with shaft packing and feature 180-degree ports, a distinction from the 90-degree ports of its NP4F predecessor, the company says. Additional features are said to include an optional cartridge mechanical seal, lip seal or triple-lip cartridge seal over the standard shaft packing; 4-in. weld, 4-in. ANSI 150 RF compatible or 4-in. According to Snap-on, the wrench set helps remove hard to reach fasteners that are not accessible or difcult to access using a standard wrench or ratchet and socket. For more information on the set, go to www.snapon.com or call 877-762-7664. Minimizer will launch its new product line, custom-made truck oor mats, later this month. Minimizers decision to add heavy-duty oor mats to its product offering is the result of an investment in a Stratasys Prototyping Manufacturing Machine. The machine offers virtually realtime 3D printed thermoplastic and end-user parts through Fused Deposition Modeling, the company says, allowing Minimizer to produce oor mats efciently and effectively. Minimizer says the oor mats can be custom tailored to any truck, and can be created in multiple colors with custom logos and designs.
