The new line, which is immediately available, replaces the Gabrielbranded shocks previously distributed by the company and is available to all North American warehouse distributors and OEM dealers. The shocks are available in three models: cab shocks, standard duty shocks and premium adjustable shocks, the company says. The shock line is the ���rst entrant into Meritor���s new AllFit series, addressing the allmakes market segment. Phillips says the adapter connects the round male style of the 36 series to the SLIM-7 female style of the 34 series. The molded STA-DRY plug in the new harness adapter keeps moisture and contaminants from penetrating the electrical system and comes with pre-applied corrosion resistant dielectric grease, the company says.
