Memphis Tri-State Fence Association slates 27th annual golf tournament The Memphis Tri-State Fence Association has scheduled its 27th annual golf tournament for Saturday, May 18, with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start. The format is a four-person scramble. The location will be the Tunica National Golf Course in Tunica, Miss. Accommodations are available at the Gold Strike Casino in Tunica. Room reservations should be made prior to April 15. State the group code Memphis Tri-State Fence Association when making reservations. The tournament fee is $160 per player, and that includes one red tee and two mulligans. Payoff will be for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in three flights, two closest to the pins and two long drives. A practice round is available for the first 72 players on Friday, May 17. Tee time starts at 11 a.m. The cost is $60 per player. A skins game is available. A hospitality session sponsored by Stateside Steel and Wire will be held Friday, May 17 from 7 p.m. ��� 10 p.m. Profits from the golf outing as well as all funds collected by the chapter will be used to benefit the industry and its members, the chapter noted. This includes sponsoring scholarships to the Field Training School, the Gate Operators Installers School, donating money for disaster relief, and supporting other nonprofit organizations. Sponsorships are still available, and door prizes are welcome. Mapping software and GPS will eliminate thousands of unnecessary miles per week. Less time on the road means less fuel consumed, less wear on vehicles, decreased expenditures and overall increased productivity, plus lower toxic emissions!
