Valley Freightliner of Cleveland has relocated to its Parma,
Ohio facility more than six months after its Brook Park site
was destroyed by ���re.
CIT Kenworth Chicago has opened a full-service dealership in its
Mokena, Ill. location. The 39,000 sq. ft. facility features 20 service
bays and a 15,000 sq. ft. parts department.

In the January edition of Truck Parts
& Service, it was reported that natural gas powered heavy-duty trucks
can cost up to $90,000 more than
conventional diesel trucks.
That number was meant to
represent a maximum difference
between the two engine systems, not
an average price difference.
According to research presented by
Frost & Sullivan in 2012, the average
spark-ignited CNG- and LNG-powered
commercial trucks cost approximately
$30,000 more than diesel counterparts. Frost & Sullivan also reports
compression-ignited 95 percent LNG
engines average $72,000 more than
similar diesel units.
C-B Kenworth has opened a 15,000 sq. ft. parts and service facility
in Auburn, Maine, near the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport
and Auburn Intermodal Transfer Facility. The facility features ���ve
service bays and a 5,000 sq. ft. parts warehouse.
