Fleet News Con-Way driver named Highway Angel Professional truck driver Robert Woolf of Leland, N.C., was named a Highway Angel by the Truckload Carriers Association. Woolf, a driver for Con-Way Truckload of Joplin, Mo., was driving along I-90 about 100 miles east of Syracuse, N.Y., on Nov. 7 when a car hit a guard rail, jumped across the median, spun and crashed. Woolf stopped, worked his way into the car and pulled out the bloodied, unconscious driver, making a makeshift brace of his hands to protect the man's neck.
