John Deere WHP Series, WG Series and WH Series The new WHP Series has 3 models: WHP36A, WHP48A, and WHP52A. Available with 14.5- or 18.5-hp. engines, the WHP Series offers a 5.8-gallon fuel tank, standard electric start and standard electric PTO. The pistol grip controls allow for easy adjustable tracking, and each model has 7-gauge fabricated floating decks. Deck sizes include 36-, 48and 52-inch to serve the varying needs of the landscape contractor. John Deere also offers 2 other lines of commercial walk-behind mowers: the WG Series and the WH Series. The WG Series provides pistol grip controls and a 5-speed gear-drive transmission for shifting on the go with 32-, 36- or 48-inch decks. The WH Series provides twin loop controls with a heavy-duty hydraulic drive transmission with 36-, 48- or 52-inch decks. Scag SWZ walk-behind The Scag SWZ hydro-drive walk-behind mower continues to be a favorite choice of lawn care professionals. Its rugged, easy-to-use, proven design ensures years of productive reliability. With a 36-inch Advantage, or 48-, 52-, or 61-inch Velocity Plus cutter deck, and various engine options, there is a model to fit your specific needs. Other heavyduty features include the powerful dual pump/motor drive system, Scag's ultra-tough cutter deck spindles with castiron housings and tapered roller bearings, and standard flat-free front caster tires. Toro mid-sized, floating-deck walk-behind mowers Toro mid-sized, floating-deck walk-behind mowers can be outfitted with the Turbo Force cutting deck in widths ranging from 36 to 52 inches. With its heavy-duty 7-gauge steel construction and flexible rubber discharge chute, the Turbo Force deck is known for its durability and performance. Commercial-grade, twin-cylinder Kawasaki engines, ranging from 14.5 to 18.5 hp., work with either gear or hydro drive systems to deliver a smooth-running, trouble-free engine. Operators will enjoy the convenience of choosing between traditional twin lever controls and the Toro-exclusive T-Bar control system. Both control systems are easy to master and have been shown to reduce operator fatigue and increase productivity. Wright Velke pistol grip hydro mower Wright Manufacturing's Velke pistol grip hydro mowers, with deck widths of 32, 36, 48 and 52 inches, can be operated as a walk-behind or can be paired with Wright's Velke foldaway sulky for ridebehind convenience. The mower has an integrated latch system for easy deployment and stowage of Wright's patented Velke sulky. With the complete Velke system, you can back in and out of tight spots and make turns quickly. The Velke is more compact than the competition, yet is has the largest drive tires of any fixed-deck walk-behind mower in the industry.
