Terex TSR50 radial lift path skid-steer loader The Terex TSR50 radial lift path skid-steer loader boasts a 50-hp. turbocharged Perkins engine with load sensing, variable flow hydraulics, and a rated operating capacity of 1,500 pounds with 115 inches of lift height and 22 inches of reach. The engine and hydraulic combination on the TSR50 offers 8,453 pounds of tractive effort, giving the wheels on both units' excellent pushing abilities. The push power and loader breakout forces on Terex radial lift path skid-steer loaders allow these units to perform digging and grading tasks efficiently. The TSR50 offers 10.5inch ground clearance and 28.3-degree rear angle of departure. These features improve the ability of the machine to traverse soft, uneven terrain, making the workday more productive and less frustrating. For quick cycle times, a powerful drive train with optional 2-speed transmission propels Terex loaders up to 12 mph. New Vermeer S450TX mini skid-steer A 500-pound SAE-rated operating capacity with a 1,430-pound tipping capacity gives the Vermeer S450TX mini skidsteer a lot of muscle for its size. Vermeer incorporated a 4-pump hydraulic system, which provides performance and efficiency when powering attachments. A single pilot-operated joystick is now integrated into the S450TX platform, which makes the machine easy to maneuver and operate. The operator can also experience a smooth range of operation without having to balance the engagement of 2 separate controls. The S450TX offers the customer the ability to customize the machine with the choice of engine and track options. The Kubota 24.8-hp. diesel engine and Kohler EFI 27-hp. gas engine both provide excellent torque performance and are designed for those who use attachments requiring greater engine torque. A narrow 7-inch track provides a smaller machine footprint for tight work areas. The standard 9-inch-wide track offers reduced ground pressure for increased flotation and stability. Grouser Products V3 Flex Plane Grouser Products' V3 FlexPlane is the latest in the manufacturer's series of heavy-duty, contractor-grade attachments. Grouser's patent-pending V3 FlexPlane is designed to attach to any make and model of skid-steer, making it the universal tool for any landscaping job. Featuring a unique pivoting action, the heavy-duty V3 FlexPlane features a versatile self-adjusting blade that rotates to contour to the ground. The contouring action prevents floating empty and conversely eliminates the issue of corners digging in to high spots in the planing surface. The V3 FlexPlane features 2 double-beveled hardened cutting edges. The cutting edges provide both aggressive cutting action and smooth leveling in both forward and reverse directions. A special Cross Crumbler Beam knocks even tough earth into manageable dirt. Featuring a universal quick attach design, compatible with any skid-steer, and Grouser's exclusive Accu-Tach system, the V3 FlexPlane can be custom fitted to the end user's machine in minutes. John Deere 50G and 60G compact excavators The John Deere 50G and 60G compact excavators feature a wide variety of improvements. The 50G (36 hp.) and 60G (53 hp.) are outfitted with a DOC/DPF after-treatment device to meet the Final Tier 4 emissions requirements. Both models incorporate the popular auto-idle feature that slows engine speed when the pilot-control levers are momentarily released. A new door design provides improved entry and visibility to the left-hand side of the machine. The door design also widens the size of the opening for entering the cab. Within the operator station, a new multifunction monitor provides a coolant temperature and fuel gauge, clock, two trip meters, regeneration inhibit, auto shutdown control, and machine hours among the many functions. The compacts also include features such as an oil-impregnated boom, and arm and bucket bushings. Rubber tracks, steel tracks and steel tracks with rubber pads are all available. JCB MIDI CX backhoe JCB's MIDI CX compact backhoe has the size and the power to meet the needs of landscape and irrigation contractors. Its hydrostatic transmission eliminates gear changing for easier operation, while its 16-mph operation allows it to move about the job site quickly. The MIDI CX's size makes it possible to transport the machine by towing it on a trailer behind a 3/4-ton truck. The JCB MIDI CX has 3 parts to the machine that a huge range of attachments can be mounted to: skid-steer loader coupler, category-1 3-point hitch, and backhoe. The cab is fully ROPS and FOPS compliant, and the operator can rotate the seat while seated. Simple gauges and instrumentation make it easy to learn to operate the MIDI CX. Add to all those features a 50 -hp., 4-cylinder engine; 2-speed hydrostatic transmission; and permanent 4-wheel drive, and JCB's MIDI CX is a backhoe that delivers power and performance. www.landscapeirrigation.com Landscape and Irrigation 25
