A sketch of Francisco
Costa's 1950s block dress
inspired by Ellsworth Kelly.
ELLSWORTH KELLY, who just celebrated his
90th birthday, has partnered with Calvin Klein's
Francisco Costa to produce a new version of his
1950s block dress. The original, inspired by Kelly's
painting Red Yellow Blue White, has been updated and
reproduced in a limited edition. It can be seen at the
Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute and
the Philadelphia Museum of Art. calvinklein.com
