High-Temperature Brake Paint
PlastiKote has released new high-temperature
brake caliper paint, available in five colors: Bright
Yellow (CP-250), Bright Red (CP-251), Bright Blue
(CP-252), Hi-Gloss Silver (CP-254) and Hi-Gloss
Black (CP-253).
In addition to calipers, the paint can be used on brake drums and also
works well on external engine surfaces and bolt-on components, the company
says. The 500˚F coating is chemical, chip and rust resistant for longer life, the
company says.

adding a high-torque 15.5-in. clutch to its current line for medium- and heavy-duty trucks.
Meritor says customers can purchase the
new clutch, which includes 15.5 in. by 2 in.
/10 spline/7 spring, from distributors stocking Euclid-brand parts. The clutch, available
in an easy-pedal model, offers end users
a 24-month/unlimited mileage warranty
against defects in material and workmanship,
the company says. Meritor says some unique
features of the clutch are superior vibration
control for reduced drivetrain torsional rate,
a heavier-duty back plate that keeps springs
from wearing faster and a strap-driven pressure plate.

Clore Automotive introduces its new SOLAR commercial
jump starter with 12- and 24-volt jump starting capability.
According to Clore, this unit provides endless jump
starts for commercial fleets and construction equipment, and
delivers the instant power of 1800 CCA in 12-volt mode and 900 CCA in 24volt mode. The jump starter also features an enhanced three-channel charging
system. The new charging system is said to charge each battery independently to
ensure a complete charge for each battery during every charging cycle.
