Product Round-up Husqvarna 580BTS backpack blower With a 206-mph air speed and a 907.6-cfm air volume, the Husqvarna 580BTS is a powerful commercial backpack blower that delivers performance similar to a walk-behind blower. The design of this blower is solely focused on maximizing the amount of air coming into the blower and the force of air exiting the unit. The blow force starts with the commercial-grade 75.6cc/4.3-hp. 2-cycle X-Torq engine that delivers the power needed to maximize airflow. The engine is supported by a blow-molded frame that is designed to withstand even the most unforgiving conditions. The frame is designed with side air vents to not only enhance airflow, but also to help keep the operator cool during long periods of operation. The blower also features a top-mounted air filtration system with a 2-stage air filter and snap-lock cover clips for easy maintenance access. Finally, the blow tubes are designed to allow the maximum volume of air to exit the machine. Little Wonder debris management products Little Wonder offers several debris management products, including blowers, vacuums and truck loaders. Little Wonder's Optimax blowers put operators in control with on-the-fly adjustment of its patented split-stream airflow technology. This feature greatly reduces blowback of lightweight materials and provides single-pass clearance of heavy debris, standing water and rocks. A large discharge chute close to the ground, combined with a powerful fan, provides additional air power. Blowers are available in push and self-propelled models. The Little Wonder High Performance Vacuum (HPV) is an all-terrain/all-debris vacuum with an advanced impeller and innovative housing design for excellent suction and reduced noise levels. Through its patented technology, the HPV offers an excellent reduction ratio. The top-loading system fills the debris bag completely without loss of suction. The 205cc Briggs & Stratton Vanguard engine offers ample power to easily pick up rocks, bottles, cans, glass, paper, leaves and wet debris quickly and completely. MacKissic debris cleanup equipment MacKissic's family of debris cleanup equipment includes: • A self-propelled vacuum-chipper-bagger that features 3 forward speeds and reverse, up to 8-to-1 reduction, a 25-inch-wide vac path and a 2-7/8-inch chipping capacity, as well as a top-loading, easy-dump, 4-bushel collection bag. • Mighty Mac's walk-behind blower line includes 5 models 160-mph/1,600-cfm to 200-mph/2,000-cfm, powered by Briggs & Stratton OHV engines; a kickable deflector to divert air up, down, forward or sideways; and a 3-position loop handle with an anti-vibration grip. • Equipped with a 6-inch-wide by 8-foot-long vac hose and 2.25-bushel collection bag, MacKissic's LeafCycler 4-in-1 combines 150mph/1,650-cfm blow power, up to 8-to-1 reduction, and a 2-7/8-inch chipping capacity. Stihl BG 86 handheld blower The Stihl BG 86 handheld blower features a fuel-efficient, low-exhaust-emission, gasoline-powered engine. This compact professional blower is packed with power and equipped with a 4-spring anti-vibration system, a soft-grip handle, and an ElastoStart shockabsorbing starter handle, making it one of the most comfortable handheld blowers. The new HD2 air filter provides for a longer filter life and longer run times between cleanings compared to previous models, and high performance even while operating in dusty and dry conditions. Both flat and round nozzle attachments come standard, and the BG 86 is compatible with other optional accessories to further increase job versatility. The Stihl gutter attachment fits quickly on the BG 86 handheld blower and can extend to more than 10 feet, providing the additional extension needed to reach most residential gutters. With the Stihl Vacuum Kit, users can also convert the blower into a vacuum to pick up and empty debris. Sweepster VS features vacuum dust abatement system The Sweepster VS by Paladin Attachments utilizes a vacuum dust abatement system that reduces visible dust while sweeping. The high-volume fan pulls air from the sweeping chamber, filtering dust as small as 10 micron with a PTFE impregnated washable filter. The system reduces dust without bulky and awkward water systems and is available for skid-steer mounting in 5-, 6- and 7-foot widths. A drape system that seals the sweeping chamber to the ground maximizes the efficiency of the vacuum dust collection system. An electric shaker cleans the filter when sweeping and dumping. A high dump feature allows for emptying of the collected debris from the sweeper hopper at the maximum height of the skid-steer loader. A 26-inch diameter quick change brush maximizes sweeping effectiveness. To ensure a clean surface, the front caster follows ground contours independently of the loader keeping the brush in contact with the ground. Turf Teq Model 1305BR power broom Brush pressure, brush speed and pivot angle (left/right) can all be adjusted easily from the operator position on the Turf Teq Model 1305BR power broom. This self-propelled power broom features a hydrostatic transmission, differential lock, 13-hp. Honda engine, 47inch width, and 2 types of bristles (poly only or poly wire mix). The multi-use capability of the power broom allows the operator to dethatch lawns, as well as sweep debris or snow. The power broom attachment can also be removed, allowing the operator to mount 4 other attachments: a power edger, power rake, brush cutter or plow. TurfEx Thatch, Groom 'N' Sweep Package TurfEx offers the Thatch, Groom 'N' Sweep Package, an attachment system designed for zero-turn mowers. Available in both 48- and 60-inch widths (models MT480 and MT600, respectively), the Thatch, Groom 'N' Sweep Package uses a universal mount that easily fits the form of most major manufacturers' zero-turn mowers. The attachment includes 2 rows of brush sections, which can be replaced with spring-mounted tines to turn the sweeper into a dethatcher in just a matter of minutes. As a sweeper, the attachment is popular for both grooming and debris cleanup applications. The dethatcher version contains special tines for keeping turf damage to a minimum, whether the mower is driving forward, backing up, or conducting a tight turn. To extend the versatility of the Thatch, Groom 'N' Sweep Package, TurfEx offers a leaf pusher accessory, which mounts to the front of the housing. www.landscapeirrigation.com Landscape and Irrigation 23
