NEW - CONVENTION UPDATE Titan Supply Opens Doors to IDA Members Meet Titan Supply's New President and Tour the Edmonton Facility on October 7, 2013 Titan Supply, a leading distributor of Rigging Equipment and Ground Engaging Tools for the mining, pipeline, oil and gas, transportation, construction, governmental and forestry industries announced that it will be taking part in the IDA Conference and Pretour on October 7, 2013 in Edmonton, AB. Titan Supply is excited to open its doors to the Association and meet the IDA board members and encourages all the IDA Members to take part in the pre-tour. There are changes at Titan Supply this year with the appointment of Patricia Pasemko to the position of President for this leading Alberta distributor. Ms. Pasemko will be taking part in the IDA Conference and hosting the members during the Titan Supply tour. They will be moving from that facility at that time. However, Union Tractor will be part of the convention activities, beginning with a presentation at the IDA Pre-Tour Opening Reception on Sunday evening, October 6, at the Fantasyland Hotel. NEW HIKING TOURS There are new opportunities to enjoy the Canadian Rocky Mountains during your stay in Banff. First of all, after the pre-tour, the pre-tour attendees will have the option to enjoy one of two hikes about Lake Louise before taking the final bus to Banff Springs Hotel for the convention on Wednesday, October 9. The price for either tour is $35. Second, there are three optional hiking tours for the attendees to take advantage of on Thursday, October 10. This is primarily for the spouses, since the members will have seminars and the booth setup to attend to; however anyone is allowed. On Thursday the bus will take a short driving tour of some of the sights in this region and end at Lake Louise where the hikes take place. No matter which hike you choose, lunch is also included in this price of $85. Read more about the hikes on page 34. 5
