W
ith the onset of the New Year, are new ideas parts of your
organization's New Year's resolutions? ere is a misconception
that transportation and supply chain can't be creative or innovative.
It doesn't matter if we are discussing carriers, suppliers, vendors,
TMS, WMS, or any other component, thriving organizations
need a constant flow of ideas to move forward and be viable in
the long-term.
Ideas are the real corporate currency with dollars and/or euros the net result. I would
adamantly argue based on everything we know about companies and what makes them
succeed or fail (Jim Collins' works (Good to Great & Built to Last) are phenomenal
supporting resources), that the level of ideation and change tolerance is directly reflected
on the bottom line.
