36 CULTURED CONTRIBUTORS Chilean-born, New York-based artist and designer SEBASTIAN ERRAZURIZ has been featured in numerous museum exhibitions, including the Helsinki Museum of Contemporary Art, Museum of Arts and Design in New York, Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein, Germany and The Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina. This fall, Errazuriz will have his first solo museum show at the Carnegie Museum of Art on September 6th, followed by dual solo exhibitions at Cristina Grajales Gallery and Salon 94 on September 12th. His Cultured Commission, ART VIP walkie talkie, is available exclusively on Artsy.net. "I'm looking forward to the exhibition 'Under the Same Sun: Art from Latin America Today,' at the Guggenheim, which includes works exploring social inequality, political activism and other issues I have a deep personal interest and history with." "What is going to be the cultural highlight of your summer?" New York-based photographer FRANÇOIS DISCHINGER shoots architecture, fashion and travel for publications including Wallpaper, Harper's Bazaar and Town & Country UK. For Dischinger's first issue of Cultured, he shot Design Miami's new director, Rodman Primack for the cover and Amy Cappellazzo in her New York City townhouse. "My cultural highlight this summer will be visiting the caves of Lascaux and getting a behind the scenes tour." ALEXANDRA MARSHALL is a contributing editor at Travel + Leisure and writes for W, Harper's Bazaar and The Wall Street Journal, among others. Since 2006, she has been based in Paris, where she does whatever she can not to sound too much like a damned yanqui. "Summer is all about art in the south of France: Festival International D'Art Toulouse in May (Archie Shepp is playing the opening party) and then Les Rencontres d'Arles photo festival in July. I always stop in at the World Press Photo Show in June in Paris, which awards prizes for the best photojournalism. That one is consistently mind-blowing." TRACY ZWICK is a New York-based writer, art historian and lawyer. She regularly contributes to Art in America online with interviews and news stories about art, culture and the market. She recently served as Art & Law scholar-in-residence at the New York non-profit Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. "I love Martos Gallery's summer group show in East Marion, New York. Jose Martos and his wife, artist Servane Mary, open their fabulously quirky home and lush property to artists and visitors, and curator Bob Nickas produces terrific juxtapositions. The vibe is relaxed and cool, plus it's near the beach."
