NEW PRODUCTS Auger Torque earth auger attachment Auger Torque introduced the Model 3500 MAX auger drive unit for skid-steer loaders and compact excavators. Standard with a 2-inch-hex output shaft, the 3500 MAX delivers 2,687 foot- pounds of torque at 3,400 psi. Its required hydraulic flow range is from 10 to 20 gpm. It will easily handle auger bits from 4 to 30 inches in diameter. All Auger Torque drive units feature non-dislodgement shafts, so output shafts cannot break free — an important benefit contributing to a long life of trouble-free service. An available skid-steer universal mounting frame has side shift capability for maximum versatility. BuckCat lightweight saddle from Buckingham The BuckCat (P/N 16905) is the newest rope bridge lightweight saddle from Buckingham, and was developed for the professional arborist. It combines comfort, adjustability, versatility and safety. It is fully adjustability at the sides, waist and legs to obtain a custom fit. It also offers the ability to change the length of, or replace, the suspension bridge. The BuckCat features a 7- inch-wide back pad with 3/4-inch foam to conform to the back for a comfortable fit, as well as 4- inch-wide leg pads with the same 3/4-inch foam for conformity and comfort. Moisture-wicking Dri-lex provides comfortable and cool performance. The BuckCat weighs 5.45 pounds. Echo Bear Cat CH9540H chipper The Echo Bear Cat CH9540H PTO chipper features a 3-point PTO hitch mount hook up. This allows for “go anywhere” usability, allowing operators to transport this chipper to where the work is. This model is equipped with hydraulic feed and features Echo Bear Cat’s Smart Feed System. The Smart Feed System speeds up the job by automatically feeding and adjusting the feed rate without operator intervention. The 4 reversible chipping blades with 4-sided adjustable anvil increase the durability of this machine. The CH9540H offers up to 9-inch chipping capacity. The Flynn Tree scabbard The Flynn Tree scabbard is designed to keep your chain saw safely at your side while performing tree work. Made in the USA of double-layered, high-quality leather and polyplastic, this scabbard minimizes saw damage while providing safe work conditions for the climber. Field tested for years, the scabbard also accommodates larger saws when chunking down larger sections of trees. The Flynn Tree scabbard attaches easily to your current tree belt. Toro’s new line of handlebar stump grinders Toro’s new line of walk-behind stump grinders — the SGR-6 and SGR-13 — is designed for grinding small stumps in tight-access areas. The 12- tooth cutting wheel on the SGR-6 offers a cutter depth of 6 inches below grade and a cutter height of 10.4 inches above grade. The SGR-6 comes equipped with a Honda GX200 engine and a heavy-duty centrifugal clutch. The SGR-13’s 12-tooth cutting wheel boasts an 11-inch below-grade cutter depth and a 14-inch above-grade cutter height. All Gear new heavy-duty chafe sleeve All Gear’s heavy-duty polyester sleeve provides excellent protection for your tree in a branch saver system or for rope protection for climbers or rescue workers. One side is a flat 2-ply webbing allowing for better stationary position once set up. Second side is an open, loose, 1-ply webbing for a smooth running line.
