Grape Society members meet Nov. 13-14 U sing drones in vineyards, understanding triggers of Concord chlorosis, and identifying winter damage of vines are some of the topics slated for the Washington State Grape Society's annual meeting November 13-14 in Grandview, Washington. The meeting brings juice and wine grape growers together for education and includes a trade show featuring the lat- est vineyard equipment and supplies. Educational sessions will offer practical advice for growers, such as how to sample for leafhoppers (a pest suspected of vectoring a new grapevine disease), avoid herbicide resistance, reduce pesticide application hazards, and use compost.
