It is during these exclusive sessions that attendees can learn the latest strategies for maximizing return on invest- ment, evaluating new technology, control- ling costs and better serving customers. The Work Truck Show 2015 will be held March 4–6 at the Indiana Conven- tion Center in Indianapolis. Educational programming, including the Green Truck Summit, begins March 3. "The Work Truck Show's educational ses- sions provide opportunities for attendees to learn how to improve their operations using input from work truck industry leaders and experts," said Steve Carey, NTEA executive director. "We've sharpened the focus of many of these sessions to give specifi c answers to the most pressing challenges faced by fl eet managers. By participating in the educational sessions, attendees can learn about the newest strategies fl eets are using to improve perfor- mance and reduce costs." The new "Fleet Management 101: Fun- damentals of Truck Fleet Management" workshop provides a thorough introduction to the most important elements of an effec- tive fl eet management program. It highlights outsourcing and supplier management, analytics, benchmarking, vehicle cost and re- placement, and safety. This session is led by senior representatives from Mercury Associ- ates, Inc., the largest dedicated fl eet manage- ment consulting fi rm in North America. It will be held March 3, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Individual sessions held on March 4 and 5 provide in-depth looks at decision-making processes fl eet operators follow to implement changes. These include "Lease or Capital Purchase – Identifying the Best Option for Fleets," "Strategies and Techniques for Right- sizing Your Fleet," "Utilizing Life-Cycle Cost Analysis as a Selling or Purchasing Strategy," and "Fleet Performance Measurement and Benchmarking." For government fl eet operators who must balance the need to provide the best possible service with the fi nancial realities of their agencies and taxpayers, the Indiana Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) will host a two-part training course on truck specifi cation development and life-cycle cost analysis. The "Indiana LTAP Fleet Educational Program" Special Session provides strategies for developing truck chassis specifi cations, evaluating bids, and determining real ROI to ensure a positive outcome for any equipment purchase. The Special Session takes place March 5, 8:30–10:30 a.m. Extensive education on clean vehicle top- ics is offered at the Green Truck Summit, the only alternative fuel and technology confer- ence held in conjunction with the largest dedicated vocational truck event in North America. The two-day Green Truck Summit features general and breakout sessions that cover alternative fuel and advanced technolo- gy trends and implementation success stories. Work Truck Show learning opportunities also include Chassis Update sessions, in which the world's leading work truck chassis manu- facturers present product line developments and new technical information. Conference registration is required to attend concurrent educational sessions. Separate tickets must be purchased for the Green Truck Summit and Special Sessions. A new expanded contract now offers computer-based testing locations at more than 800 college and universities across the globe. ISA has offered computer-based testing (CBT) since 2009. Over the years, CBT offerings have grown to include all six cer- tifi cation written exams at thousands of locations worldwide. For a minimal administrative fee, applicants have the option to test through CBT delivery rather than paper-and-pencil exams providing convenience through time and cost savings, as well as immediate exam results. The recent expansion in service includes 673 new testing sites in the United States, 40 in Canada, and 115 new sites in other countries.
