STiR tea & coffee industry international 35 Petroncini Impianti Since 1919, Petroncini Impianti S.p.A. has specialized in engineering and manu- facturing coffee factory equipment. The company works closely with both small artisanal roasters and industrial coffee businesses by offering its Series TT line of stand-alone roasters and Series TM line in which the combustion chamber is separated from the machine body. Roast- ers can opt for traditional open cycle or recirculate heated air to save energy. Control systems vary from the sim- plest hands-on controls to fully automatic software applications for the on-line co- ordination of entire processes including profile roasting. In each Petroncini drum roaster, the roasting process takes place by the indirect hot air convection system. Coffee is roasted in a stream of hot air preheated and conveyed inside the roast- ing drum. This achieves a uniform bean roast while maximizing the development of aromas. Drum roasters scale from 1 kg/cycle up to 660 kg/cycle. Over the years, Petroncini has ex- tended its array of coffee factory process machinery well beyond the roasting ma- chine itself. Their production is of total coffee factory requirements: green coffee reception, treatment and storage; roasted LORING.COM DIsCOveR why the wORLD's best ROast MasteRs aRe ChOOsING LORING. » Produces a brighter, cleaner cup with the Flavor-Lock Roast Process™ Technology » Reduces fuel costs by up to 80% compared to conventional roasters » Achieves true consistency with agile digital controls and repeatable roast profiles » Conserves space with the smallest footprint in the industry Explore the Smarter Way to Roast. All the roasters can recycle hot air during different phases of the roasting pro- cess and modulating burners helps reduce gas consumption by using the minimum amount of energy required and only when needed. Roasters can control and modify many different parameters using the latest soft- ware, which was designed to by very flexible and to provide a high degree of consis- tency of the final product. The afterburner, also designed and built by Brambati, allows the exhaust fumes to remain in contact with the flame for a longer time obtaining a great efficiency. All the equipment that makes up the coffee processing system—cleaner, storage, scale, blender, conveyer roasters and grinders—are manufactured and assembled in Italy. Brambati sells and installs coffee plants worldwide. Its inside sales team covers five continents and is supported by a network of agents and distributors worldwide. Technical support is available 24 hours a day. Learn more: www.brambati.it
